Visited and lectured in Andorra, Bangladesh, Belgium, Caribbean Islands, China, France, German Democratic Republic (GDR), Germany (unified), Iceland, Italy, Mauritius, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, U.K. & USA, and received several grants and honors.

Led the Indian cultural delegation to China during 2007-08, and was a member of Indian delegation to Italy (April-May 1999) and to Trinidad & Tobago. Singh was a Poet-Invitee at the Frankfurt Book fair (2006) when India was the Guest of Honour, and also at the London Book Fair 2009 – ‘India Through Fresh Eyes’; A member of the Delegation of the Ministry of Culture to UNESCO, Paris (April 2011) and Dhaka, Bangladesh (May 2011). He was invited to deliver a Masterclass series of talks at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium in 2013 and was invited to a public debate on the Tagore, Maitreyi Devi & Mircea Eliade on the invitation of Government of Rumania. As the Chair of ICANN’s Neo-Brahmi Panel, led the delegation at Kathmandu in 2016, and was also invited to the Inaugural of the Sanskrit Chair at the University of Strassburg, France in the same year. In 2017, he was invited to deliver Keynote address at the First World Congress of Translation in the Paris-University of Nanterre.

In November 2013, Singh was accorded a major reception by both the President of Andorran Parliament as well as by the Minister of Culture on behalf of the Government of Andorra when he arrived on the occasion of centenary of Tagore’s Nobel prize in the ancient Sanctuary of Meritxell. In 2014, he was appointed on the Board of Bangladesh’s Antarjatik Matribhasha Institute. In February 2015, Singh was invited as a poet-essayist to participate in ‘Amar Ekushe’ – international literary festival at Dhaka by the Government of Bangladesh.
Has been one of the editors of Journal of Intercultural Communication, Sweden -a Scopus Journal published since 1999 (http://www.immi.se/intercultural).
