A precursor to the NTM Project was a 10th Plan Project titled ‘Translating India: Anukriti’ designed by Udaya Narayana Singh & P. Giridhar. The project published a World-Class E-Zine under joint editorship of the two, and also created a large search engine for all literary translations from one Indian language (including English) to other languages.
